My first birthday party
Yesterday (Jan 6), my mom came over and treat me to lunch. It was my birthday.

She didnt realized it or she just didnt noticed it. But that was the first time in my conscious adult mind that she celebrated my birthday.

No I didnt write this for the sympathy that my mom never celebrated my birthday until today.
Its just historic in some ways.
I never thought my mom would ever celebrate my birthday.
But this year she did. I am now 34 and having my first birthday "party" with my mom.

She was too busy with work back in those days. Too busy with her life and ambitions.
So I just smiled and be civil.
They were no cakes nor clowns. Just a simple lunch. After 34 years of waiting, I take it. It made my day so I have a happy thought for the day.
So now I am sharing it with you.

Have a good day. And if you got kids, dont neglect them, take good care of them and remember and celebrate their birthdays.
